Hello,

To start with, i would first point the major difference between MBA and PGDM is thatMBA or Master of Business Administrationis a degree course that can only be offered by the colleges affiliated to universities, while PGDM or Post Graduate Diploma in Management is a diploma course offered by autonomous institutes. So, we can clearly come to conclusion that MBA degree has much more weightage. PGDM courses are mostly Industry oriented program focused more on building soft skills. However, MBA and PGDM are viewed as equivalent during recruitment process from a company point of view but the major influencing factor is the institute offering it. So, if you want to have a strong foundation for future where you want to be in better and stable career, i would say you should pursue MBA degree.
