Society colleges : they are also called semi - government colleges. They are not directly owned by the government, but are aided by the government. You can find better hostel and infrastructure facilities in such colleges better than government ones.

Government-society colleges: they are semi - government colleges.

Trust colleges : These colleges are owned and run by trusts .
