The domicile certificate is needed for admission. And if you were the domicile of the UP STATE then you could have used your UP QUOTA. As in example their is quota for DElhi students in DElhi colleges of 85%. SAme is in UP

75% seats filled through UPSEE Entrance Exam
25% seats filled through UPSEE, other state candidates
15% are reserved for management quota ( paid seats )

5% Seats for NRI Quota
1 seats in every UPTU College for Kashmiri Migrates
Special 3% weight age would be given to students from the rural background.

As you are not of UP you cant have the quota facility but if you are from rural background or BPL ( below poverty line) then you cat quota but that totally depends from college to college. but you are eligible for other state quota (10%).

AND YOU ARE TOTALLY ELIGIBLE FOR ADMISSION.

the domicile certificate is needed to show that you are from other state and are eligible for other state quota.

You will be eligible for only 10% seats in aktu counselling as per your quota if you have done your 12th outside uttar pradesh.
