Mechanical engineering at Dayalbagh university or computer science at Akgec, JSS. Which one is better
Hello candidate. Both mechanical engineering and computer science engineering (CSE) are better in their own way.It depends on your interest to choose which branch is better.Mechanical Engineering deals with engineering physics, engineering mathematics and principles to analyze, manufacture and maintain mechanical systems.Whereas CSE completely deals with programming and is completely software side.Better go with CSE where you will have many facilities for future.
Dayalbagh Educational Institute is surely a better university and is located in Agra. The faculty, placements are really good and the fee is affordable and genuine for the services they provide. The college secured 90th overall rank in list of NIRF rankings this year, which is another good point. However, please be aware that it is a strict college which focusses on studies, discipline and values. You cannot really hope to take things lightly here. Mechanical engineering is a good course if you have interest in it, but its scope is lesser than Computer Science in terms of placements, though you can get into PSUs if you clear GATE, IES etc. The college also has decent placement records for the branch.
AKGEC and JSS are average colleges that are part of UPTU. They do not have very qualified faculty and placements are not too impressive(mostly package is between 3-5 lakhs).Fees is pretty high for both colleges. However, if you're very inclined towards CSE, you may consider joining them. AKGEC is more of a stricter college as it is run by military people. Both colleges have good infrastructure but JSS is located at Noida while AKGEC is away from city.
All the best.
