hello,

The term is self-pollination. The meaning of this term is when  pollen of one flower reaches to the stigma of another flower in the same plant.

when the plants are different then the term becomes Cross-pollination. Do read NCERT book which have complete description  of the term.

for more details, please visit the link below;- http://ncert.nic.in/NCERTS/l/lebo102.pdf

Hope it help!

Hello ,

If pollination occurs between two flowers on the same plant, it is regarded as self-pollination. The type of self-pollination in which the pollen grains of one flower are transferred to the stigma of another flower which belongs to either the same plant or genetically similar plant is called geitonogamy

Also, Cross- pollination , also called allogamy , occurs when pollen is delivered from the stamen of one flower to the stigma of a flower on another plant of the same species .
