Hello there!

Greetings!

It's zinc , zinc is the metal which produces hydrogen gas on reacting with both acids and bases .

For example, when zinc reacts with hydrochloric acid then it produces hydrogen gas, also when it reacts sodium hydroxide which is a base , it produces Hydrogen gas.
