Hello Aspirant,

Pwd-65%

There was a system of allotting 40% marks weightage to 12th class marks but from the year 2017, 12th marks weightage will not be a factor for calculating rankings in JEE Main. Class 12th scores will only be considered for determining the eligibility criteria for the exam. Students who appeared JEE Main are required to score maximum marks in the entrance exam to be eligible for admission to IITS, NITs and other top prestigious engineering colleges of the country.

IIT Council has added some new changes in eligibility criteria for admission to IITs, NITs and other prestigious institutions. To be eligible for admission to afore said institutions, students are required to qualify the class 12th examination with minimum 75% marks. For SC/ST/PWD candidates, the qualifying marks will be 65%, or to be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards.

Hope this helps you

All the best for your future
