since our Ex president Honorable Abdul Kalam has passed for MIT madras it rouses the flame that its better than IIT, but it is not the reality as IITs are still the masterpiece of engineering sector of our nation.

First, the college is a part of Anna University but is separated in the physical presence. Thus not rated along with the University.

A separate campus also has resulted in a smaller campus, thus small batch strength and smaller faculty population. Many of these surveys take the strength of the institute, the faculty strength, the infrastructure as well as volume of publications and research that come from an institute into account. Owing to the smaller strength, MIT does get a set back in most of these factors.

But we can also assume that MIT is far better than many of the NITs and many state governmnet aided engineering colleges

whereas Anything saying about IIT will be less

all the best!!!!!!!!!
