Dear Aspirant

According to the year 2018, AIR 2212 with merit percentile 99.4209514 (OBC) was allotted to AIIMS Guntur and in year 2017, the AIR 6768 (OBC) was allotted to AIIMS Rishikesh, both were the last AIRs considering all other AIIMS institutes. And for this year, after the 1st round, the last OBC with AIR 2016 got allotted in AIIMS Kalyani whereas in 2018(after 1st round), the last rank was 1580 is allotted in AIIMS Mangalagiri/Guntur which makes the difference of only of 436.

Considering pattern of 1st round results of 2018 and 2019(* 2017 make no sense), you have slight(number of seats has been increased)/no chances(cut off may go high) for open round of counselling. Though, I would suggest you to go till the last round.

Kindly note that 2017 rank list make no sense or not worth of comparing as there were only 7 AIIMS institutes at that time with less number of students on comparing with 2019.
