The age of candidates as per SSC CHSL eligibility criteria should be 18 to 27 years. As you age is 17 this year you won't be eligible but next year you will be eligible to give SSC CHSL exam. According to SSC CHSL eligibility criteria, educational qualification required for the exam is Class 12/HSC. For the post of Data Entry Operator, candidates must have passed their Class 12/HSC from Science Stream with Mathematics. So as long as you satisfy the education qualification you will be able to give the exam next year.
