My friend got 50% in LLM so can he give NET or SET exam?

Hi Dear,

As per the details mentioned by you, your Friend is not eligible to appear for UGC NET and SET exam if he belongs to General category. To be eligible for appearing in UGC Net and SET exam , Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC. If he belongs to ST/ SC/ OBC/ PwD/ Transgender category, then he can appear for both the exams. However, you can also look for PhD or M.phil courses from any university by appearing for university based entrance exams.
