Scores in one attempt of NEET do not hamper the eligibility of a candidate as such, he can definitely reappear in 2021and try to improve his scores and get a good MBBS college. As for age, since there is no age limit for appearing so that argument stands nullified as well.

You haven't mentioned your friend's Category. Nevertheless, the General Qualifying cut offs for 2020 have been as follows:
General Category/EWS: 720-147
OBC: 146-113
SC: 146-113
ST: 146-113
General Category/EWS-PWD: 146-129
With a score of 100 it is difficult for a seat in any course that conducts admission based on NEET score because your friend doesnt qualify in NEET. . But if your friend has decided about studying Medicine, your friend has to reappear for NEET in 2021 and score real good. That will be the only option because with this score, your friend cannot even get Private Medical Colleges. So your friend may have to consider appearing for NEET 2021.
