My gate score is 359 in Civil engineering and I belong to SC category .Do I have any chances of getting seat into an iit or old nits

As per your score mentiones in GATE 2019 in civil engineering it's difficult to get IIT or top NIT. Generally for IIT score should above 700 and top NIT score should above 650 for SC candidate. But you may have chance to get Government engineering college as per your score and category.

Your score is bit less.But as you belong from SC category you have a chance of getting admission to the medium ranked IITs such as IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Patna, IIT Varanasi,etc and some good NITs such as NIT Warangal, NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal,etc.You can also check for Colleges on Careers360 Gate College Predictor.

Yes, but cutoff of top but like warangal , a, Trichy, are high as per your mentioned score... If you attend till last you may have chances to get into nit
