As per previous records you can get lower NITs

and IIITs but IIITs are not having Mech branches.

It would be beneficial for you to choose Lower NITs or some special research colleges .

You can get northeastern NIT or GFTI mtech with this much score in GATE examination. I will suggest you to take the college and prepare for this examination again, so that you can get a good PSU. So just take the right decision. You can also join any coaching institute and prepare for GATE examination.

As per the previous year cutoffs and the fact that you belong from OBC category you have tough chance of getting Medium ranked NITs such as NIT Nagpur, NIT Raipur, NIT Bhopal, NIT Rourkela,etc.

You might get it in later rounds.
