Suggested: CAT 2024 Score vs Percentile
Well you have a decent academic score for me.
But cat wants more from a candidate and it's an average acadmic score and now it all tests upon your cat percentile. If you get a good percentile above 90% then you might have chances of getting a good college. But not to worry my friend. Just keep your fingers crossed and pray that you score very good percentile in cat results.

I hope it will work for you
I wish you all the best
Cheers! !
You have an average academic record plus your percentile is not good enough so you will have a problem in finding a good college.
Still, by scoring 75-85 percentile marks in CAT 2017 you can aim for some of the colleges like
- TAPMI - Manipal
- Bharathidasan Institute of Management (BIM), Trichy
- Department of Business Economics, University of Delhi
- FORE School of Management, New Delhi
- Great Lakes Institute of Management (GLIM), Chennai (PGDM Two-Year Programme)
- Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad
- Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA)
- K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research (SIMSR), Mumbai
- MISB Bocconi, Mumbai
- National Institute of Banking & Management (NIBM), Pune
There is again no surety of selection or getting a call from these colleges because CAT marks are not the only parameter involved in the selection procedure. After CAT exam every college in which you have applied prepares a merit list to call students for next round of interview based on your aggregate score which comprises of many parameters such as CAT marks, 10th, 12th and graduation percentage, work experience, engineer or non-engineer whose weightage varies for all different colleges. And after your second round of interview again a new merit list is made which also includes marks of your interview, GD and WSAT which along with CAT marks generally have the highest weightage.
All the best!!
