See if you are seeking admission in any of the NITs/IITs/IIITs then you have to mandatorily appear for JEE-Main 2022 and for IITs you have to appear for JEE-Advance as well after qualifying JEE-Main 2022. So we have to check whether you would be eligible for JEE-Main 2022 or not. So there are some criterion which you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them.

1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.

2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects from any of the recognized central or state board.

3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, will be eligible to appear.

Now let me make you clear that your percentage of class 12th has no role in determining the eligibility of yours to appear in JEE-Main because there is no requirement of any minimum marks to appear in JEE-Main but yes with 80.6% you would be eligible for admission to IITs/IIITs/NITs.

As you secure 80 percent in class 12th so you are eligible for JEE Mains 2022.

But you need admission in NITs  you need to score more than 97 percentile marks in JEE mains according to previous year's cutoff trends. To get top NITs you need to score above 98.50 Percentile in JEE mains.

For IITs, you need to qualify the cut off of JEE Mains, and also secure good rank in JEE Advanced.
