Don't take tension at all. First of all you don't have to uplo6u character certificate at the time of counselling procedure online. It is only required when you will visit the college physically. You can tell them that there is an isssuwitj character certificate so they will grant you some time and submit the rest of documents. Once you get the character certificate then submit it as soon as possible.

Its not at all a big issue for which you feel worried vecause names are only checked through your originap marksheets and not from character certificate generally.
Even, some colleges provide us the facilities to submit our yc, migration or character certificate like documents after 2-3 weeks of our admission in case we didn't have them at the time of admission process.
But, if there is no such facilities in uptu then you can do the following:-
1.Make a affidavit from notary mentioning about your problem of name in your character certificate
2.Also attach a sealed and sogned application for this by your school principal in which the date of issuing of new character certificate must be mentioned
3.Talk about this problem with the staff of your college who are undertaking your application at the time of admission and submit them the above said documents
Then, as soon as you get your new and corrected character certificate just make it deposit in your college.
