You can write your improvement exam next year but you are eligible for JEE this year. If the case is like you get a good rank in JEE but are unable to clear board exam, then you cannot get admission.

Hi Gaurav. I understand that the Physics CBSE board exam paper was very tricky and difficult. My cousin could manage her exam successfully just because of her JEE preparation.
