my que is wether i need ews certificate or only income certificate . as ews shows only less than 8 lakh per annum income. but in iits for fulltution fee waiver student parent have to show that their annual income is less than 1 lakh so the que is that ews does not shows less than 1 lakh income so a

Dear Ayush, your question is whether you need to submit EWS or income certificate.First of all you have to know is EWS and Income certificates both are same or different.

Income certificate means it gives you only your family income details based on your previous year income.Income certificate doesn't contain any personal details like caste, house,land etc.

EWS certificate means that you doesn't belongs to any sc/st/obc etc categories.To get EWS certificate you need to have an income certificate .EWS certificate will be given for the people who has annual income less than 8 lakhs. In EWS certificate you need to give all details about house, plot,land, agricultural land etc .

• So for certificate submission you need EWS certificate . But to get full remission of  fee   in IITs you need to submit both income certificate and EWS certificate.

Here's look list of some schemes :-

• CSSS - students who have there family income less than 8 lakhs per annum will get 10,000 per annum for first three years,and 20,000 per annum for fourth and fifth years.
• Full waiver fee- student whose parent income less than 1 lakh will get full remission of fee.
• The students whose parents income between 1lakh and 5 lakh per annum they will 2/3 remission of fee.

So the students in IITs who are EWS category must submit there parents income certificate inorder to avail full fee waiver because there income certificate shows that  there income is  less than 1lakh per annum mean while they will be eligible to that scheme.
