my rank is 29k in mit,manipal i saw that 2019 cutoff for EIE was34k and also seeing videos of mit people.one says that in 5 cnselling rounds there can occur a scenerio where a boy from AIR 32K can move to a 16k cutoff branch if choose preferences wisely .wht are the 5 wise choices for me(main camp.)

Hello Aspirant,

See you have not mentioned the name of your preferred branch, if you would have given it then I can suggest you in the preference wis 5 branches to be chosen for counselling. However on the basis of previous year cut-off you should choose enlisted below 5 branches :-

  • Mechatronics
  • Mechanical
  • Automobile
  • Aeronautical
  • Electronic and Instrumentation

First two branches are quite hard to get on the basis of your rank mentioned by you in the question. Note that the above prediction is based on previous year's cut-off because cut-off for this year is not released yet and cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
