my son got around 84000 rank in VITEEE. Will he get Mechanical in Chennai or Vellore ?

Dear Ma'am,
Chances seem low as closing ranks for newer branches are ranging in 50000-55000 as per trends from 2018 and 2015.
For Mechanical brnach, ranks close by 30000-40000.
However, we suggest you to keep hopes alive as cutoff rnage may vary depending on total seats allotted, exam difficulties level and total candidates appearing.
