Hi,

8k obc rank is pretty decent, and based on that and previous year cutoff trend, he has a chance of getting these branches in the following south NITs :

NIT Surathkal -

• Civil Engineering (HS quota)

NIT Warangal -

• Metallurgical Engineering (HS Quota)

NIT Andra Pradesh -

• Chemical Engineering

• Civil Engineering

• Mechanical Engineering

• Metallurgical Engineering

(HS means home state quota)

And Mechanical Engineering and Smart Manufacturing in IIITDM Kancheepuram.
