My son has got 87.5% in plus two board and 21.75 in PU entrance exam will he be able to get admission in Chandigarh Hoshiarpur ,Ludhiana

I got 74.5% marks in +2 commerce and 21 marks in puugllb entrance test please tell me will i be able to get admission in punjab university campus

Or regional centre Ludhiana  or hoshiarpur

Admission in Panjab University, Chandigarh for tge course of BA/BCOM LLB is done on the basis of both your result in 12th boards and entrance exam. 50% weightage is given to both the scores.

So as your boards percentage as well as your entrance exam's score both matter equally. As most of you have already got your both results a good score in it will put you at a great advantage.

There are 120 seats (both BA and BCOM) in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres. So for the Chandigarh campus if your rank in the BA LLB merit list after combination of both scores is uner 150-180 you'll have a fair chance in the first counselling itself.

Your son's combined scores would be around 53.75. Considering which chances in Chandigarh ans Ludhiana might be a little less and in Hoshiarpur might be more. A more accurate estimate can be made after final ranks are out on combining the scores. So you should wait for that.

Though the cut off chances each year according to the difficulty level of the paper and the level of Competition, only a fair estimate can be made regarding the marks.
