my son studying in goa, myself and my wife studied in Karnataka, and mother tongue is kannada. can my son apear in kcet ? and can my son get govt seat at Karnataka?

The entrance test is conducted to offer admission in various undergraduate courses in the colleges of Karnataka. Candidates who are qualified in the KCET can take admissions in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Farm Science courses i.e. BSc (Agriculture), BSc (Sericulture), BSc (Horticulture), BSc (Forestry), BSc Agri Bio Tech, BHSc (Home Science), BTech (Agri Engineer), BTech (Food Technology), BTech (Dairy Tech), BFSc (Fisheries), BTech (Food Science &Tech), BSc (Agri Marketing & Co-Op) , BPharma, Pharma-D and 2nd year B.Pharma Lateral Entry course, in Government / University / Private Aided/ Private Un-Aided Professional Educational Institutions in the State of Karnataka

K CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria is set by the exam conducting body i.e. KEA. The minimum marks required in Class XII to apply for B. Tech through KCET had been relaxed. Candidates who passed Class 12 or PUC are eligible to apply for KCET 2022  Before appearing for the entrance examination, candidates must fulfill the required eligibility criteria specified by Karnataka Examinations Authority. The students must have pass from a recognised institution from Karnataka. Due to which he would not be able to write KCET examination.
