The previous years records show that the candidates sevuring rank upto 20,000 comes under the category-1 and 20k onwards category 2 starts and so on. So, with the rank you mentioned, there are chances that you might get category 2 or 3 but for category 1 chances are less. Also, according to the previous years cutoff trends you might get biomedical engineering, civil engineering and Production and Industrial Engg at VIT Vellore and you can always apply for other campuses of VIT.
