Hi Vivek,
No doubt, Heritage institute of technology is better than Narula institute. I can easily say this on the basis of the cut-off list of the college. Cutoff of Narula is very low, i.e. there has been admission of 7 lakh rank holder student. While in the other hand Heritage has a high cutoff. With your rank you can even make it to Heritage's CSE. Also I would suggest you to keep your preference as branch and then fill the choice list, starting from Jadavpur University, then Kalyani or Jalpaiguri government college and then proceed further with your list. This is a link if you want to know further rank cutoff of colleges under WBJEE. https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/wbjee-cutoff
All the best.
Hello Vivek Kumar.
First things first.
You really need to pin down your thoughts at a place and decide what is your ultimate goal that you have to achieve. If you want to do a job after engineering , which branch would be suitable for you.
Whether you would appreciate working in a office after getting a job in CSE sector or you want to have an on field job in mechanical sector.
Now, if your future plans are slightly different , like, you want to go for CIvil Services or something like that and you are doing engineering just for degree then it comes down to personal opinion such as which college will have a better college experience and fee offordability.
I hope you will be able to make correct chices for yourself.
Good Luck.
