Hello aspirant,

You should have mentioned your score and All India Rank rather than your state category rank. You mentioned that you belong to SC category then if you have a moderate score then you may get a government college seat as the cutoff is low for the students of SC and ST category. Last year the last government college was alloted with a score of 356 and it was Bankura Sammilani Medical College. This year the cutoff may increase so if you have a score of 390 to 400+ then you can get a seat. Check out the link to predict the colleges.

The cutoff will increase but still you have good chance of getting a seat in government colleges. You have a good score and also you have category reservation. You can get a seat in government college.

There are approximately 2200 medical seats available in State Counselling for West Bengal. This 2200 sears accomodate all Categories. 10% EWS, 27% OBC, 15% SC, 7.5% ST and other reservations. There are approximately 330 seats allotted for SC Category. So with a category rank of 250, you might have a decent chance at a seat in atleast Pruvate Medical College.

Well i confirmed from the 2019 85% seat matrix (WBMCC) their are a total of 442 seats reserved for SC,
