Myself Arun.I am currently pursuing B.Com (Final Year) from IGNOU(Open University).Am I eligible for MBA admission at NIT Surathkal provided I meet all other requirements i.e. Valid and Sufficient CAT/MAT Score and pass GD and PI.I want to join MBA in 2021.I hope to get a reply at the earliest.

The merit is given on basis of marks scored in CAT or GMAT, group discussion and personal interview. IGNOU is a recognised board and its degree is accepted. You must fulfill the above mentioned criteria to be eligible to get admission in NIT, Surathkal.

- Candidate must have passed Bachelors Degree in any discipline with 50% marks or 5.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in all subjects of entire duration of the course and for SC/ST it is 45% marks or 5.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale from a recognised board.

IGNOU is an authorised and recognised Board of education in India. So, any degree you obtain from there is valid in future. The Eligibility criteria to apply for MBA course at NIT, surathkal states that the Candidate must have completed graduation with minimum 50% marks in a relevant Subject stream. So, yes, you are eligible to apply. And, If you clear through all the admission criterias, you will get admission.
