Both collefes are good in terms of faculties, infrastructure and placements.
Depends on your interest which branch you'd like to go with.
As we all know metallurgy is not a core branch. But ECE is.
Basically in metallurgy You'll be taught about composition of metals and intermixing(alloys).
Whereas in ECE - it's all about circuits and the electricity chapters you have read in your class 12th.
I hope this gives you a way to better understand with which branch to go with.
In the end no college name matters. What matters is your own HARDWORK.
