Noticed some hv sent the keam application form in long cover without folding. I had to fold the form since I used a 10x5 inch long cover.

Officially, the KEAM 2018 authorities have only mentioned that the envelope cannot be folded.Nothing about not folding the application form is mentioned.
So, I do not think that you should face any problems.
If you wish to confirm once, you can send a mail to the KEAM team to ceekinfo@cee.kerala.gov.in
