The leading certified authority which offers PMP course is Project management Institute based on Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, PMI has few service and operations center In India. however the pmp course requires the eligibility criteria as follows:

Candidates must complete a four-year degree, 36 months work experience on leading projects and 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification

OR —

Applicant  must complete a high school diploma or an associate’s degree (or global equivalent), work experience around 60 months of  leading projects, 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification.

To become eligible for CAPM certification, candidates must hold a secondary degree i.e high school diploma/ associate degree / global equivalent with 23 hours of project management education . PMI has project management fundamental course  which full fills the education prerequisite.

you may join PMI fundamental course on project management, after completing the fundamentals you may apply FOR CAPM, the you are eligible to apply for PMP certification courses.

however for college degree you may take admission either in  b.a in economics/  b.a in english.
