Yes, if you have studied Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) you can go for B.tech biotechnology.



Biotechnology course is all about using concepts of Biology for tweaking and modifying biological systems, cell structures, biological processes etc so that they can be used in Engineering and Technology related applications to improve and enrich various sectors such as healthcare, food processing, agriculture, pharmaceuticals etc and solve problems arising in these sectors.



Since India is still developing, it is highly recommended that you do your B.Tech in a reputed institution for good campus placements and job opportunities. If your university is not reputed, chances of any biotech company coming for placements will be zero. I would like to recommend you that you should pursue your B.tech Biotech, from a well renowned, reputed nationally or state wise university, in which chances of any biotech or pharmaceutical company coming for placements sessions are higher as compare to the institute which is not that much well reputed and re renowned.
