Please tell me what is the median package in iiit kottayam please?

Hello Satyam, Last year the average package offered in IIIT Kottayam was around 5 lakh. Companies like NISSAN, L&T, JIO and many other big companies like TCS, Bosch, and Wipro also hired a good amount of students. It's tough to tell the median package because placements are not over but one thing that can be concluded is that IIIT Kottayam performed very well in its first placement year.

Comparing Placement ofIIIT Kottayamwith other new iiits will give a brief idea of how IIIT Kottayam stands superior among others.



2019 was the first year when IIIT Kottayam saw its first placement. Institute had good companies coming forward to recruit them. Some of them whereNISSAN ,L&T, Reliance(JIO)and many more startups.



Good companies like NISSAN offered package starting from6 Lakh to 10 Lakh.Which is brilliant when seeing the first placement year of Institute. Whereas other new iiits did not saw this type of offers in their first year. So comparing the current scenario one can expect that the placement to be as good as old nits in coming 23 years. It is a well deserving institute for candidates securing rank between5000 to 15000.



Coding culture is as par with old iiits like IIIT Allahabad, Gwalior and good nits. More than 70% students clearing starting round of CODE JAM conducted byGOOGLE.



Most important point is that no other new iiits have got their permanent campus except few. ButIIIT Kottayamhave got its campus from 20182019 session, again beating others.
