Pros and cons of Chengalpattu medical college

Government Chengalpattu Medical College is the only governmental tertiary health care center in this district which is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. It is recognized by the Medical Council of India. It offers Master degree course in the field of Surgery. This college in 1965 was a district headquarters building in the town and it is then upgraded district headquarters hospital by the government of Tamil nadu as teaching institutions for clinical training. The college campus and its classrooms are all well-furnished and having a well-equipped library with huge volumes of books. The college having a separate hostel facilities for boys & girls and another facilities including gymnasium are also provided. The college having a variety of teaching and learning techniques which are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students. There aren't cons as such. Attendance can be a issue sometimes.
