Respected Sir/Mam, I scored 96.4% in CBSE XII board exam now. My scores are Physics- 95 Chemistry- 97 Maths- 96 English- 96 CS- 98 Physical Edu. (additional)- 99 In the result, a letter 'P' is written in front of Maths and Physical Education.Please explain what is it and will I get merit certificate

Congrats...:) You scored well.The letter P refers "PASS".And you got good score .Top 0.1% Students are awarded Merit certificate as per the pass criteria of the board.The number of candidates passing a subject is determined by rounding of the numbr of candidates passing the subject to the nearest multiple of thousand.If the number of candidates passing a subject is less than 500,no merit certificate will be issued.
