Should I choose Bsc chemistry in IITK considering branch change after 1st year to mechanical or Take mechanical engineering in a 2nd Tier IIT?

if u want to persue mechanical eng.. then u should consider tier 2 iit because opting for branch chanche option is avialable in very few iits and also it is very difficult to get your branch change in iit because it require quite high cgpa.
