Well getting into PEC and that too for mechanical engineering is not a piece of cake. You have to score really high to get into it. So if you get PEC just don't leave it as it's far better than VIT.

You must go for VIT Vellore instead of Punjab engineering college as it has excellent exposure in every branch it teaches. I am suggesting you the college not the branch, because college tag matters..!!

I think u should definitely go for VIT taking into considerations the quality of exposure u will get in VIT will be much more higher than in PEC
