Hello shivi,
placements are good for CHE compared to civil. But both branches are good.College preference order- 1.NIT calicut,2.NIT nagpur,3.NIT jaipur,4.NIT Bhopal,5.NIT surat.

Both the branches are good. It depends upon your interests and passion which branch you will choose. As far as NIT is concerned, you can opt:
1. NIT Surat
2. NIT Bhopal
3. NIT Calicut
4. NIT Nagpur

so according to you course your first priority should be nit jaipur for tha required course and after than nit surat adn after that nit nagpur adn at last nit bhopal. all the best have a great future ahead.
