I know I am answering this a little late now. But, if you're still looking at joining classes for the GATE program, you must look at the following things:

1. How many students have actually cracked the GATE from these classes?

For ex: A lot of classes now claim that they have results, but, once you join, you realise that the lectures are not conducted properly on a schedule and there are hardly any students attending the lectures, let alone crack the exam.

2. What is the presence of the classes in the market, in this case, it is Mumbai.

There a lot of classes which open up for one or two years and then shut down as they cannot sustain competition, they fail to give results or for other commercial reasons.

In this case, I think Vidyalankar Classes have been present since 1960s and they sure have ample results for every branch and also, I have heard recently from my nephew, who is preparing for the GATE, that they give authentic and comprehensive material and video lectures also.

Although, I have limited information on this, since, I am a working professional in a similar fiels, I thought I should help you with getting you a good class, for the GATE is a very important competitive exam and I have come to opine that every engineer SHOULD take it.
