Hello aspirant.Both the NITs are good for CSE.CSE is a branch which deals with programming and it is completely software side. As you mentioned that Surat is the nearer location for you better go with NIT Surat.As CSE is better in both the NITs better go with NIT Surat which is nearer for you.
