Hi Mohan, p reparing for an entrance exam is a very crucial process as it determines one’s career path and establishes the foundation for one’s future. This path is quite troublesome and hence not very easy for most. Bagging the top ranks requires a very intensive amount of practice and dedication. It is when these efforts do not reap the desired results that one is left in a state of dilemma. However, t he answer to this question varies from person to person, mostly because of varying capabilities, expectations, career decisions, and income backgrounds, etc. Reanalyzing your performance and giving it a second go, however, is not at all a poor decision. It is, in fact, a very bold move. Hope this helps you.
1. if you are interested in engineering and you have got descent marks (but not sufficient for best NITs)in JEE main 2019 then you should take a year drop for jee main 2020.
2. If you are not interested in engineering and you haven't got a descent marks in JEE mains, then I think that you should choose any another field in which
you have interested.
Now, if you want to take a year drop then you have to prepared for JEE mains & advance with hardwork and dedication then you will able to get admission in a descent NIT or IIT.
Best of luck
