Should we give Entrance Examination to study petroleum engineering in presidency University, Bangalore?

Bachelor of Technology in petroleum engineering is a 4 year course from presidency university, Bangalore

The eligibility criteria for getting admission in such course is as follows-

  • Physics and maths must be a compulsory subject in class 12th (getting passing marks) with chemistry/biology or biotechnology as the 3rd subject.
  • Student must have Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to Reserved Category)
  • Appeared for JEE (Main)/jee(advance) or any other state level competitive exam.

The criteria for getting selected is-

  • Candidates are required to appear in the evaluation test conducted by university.
  • Candidates are also required to appear for the Personal Interview process

Admissions team also uses scholastic and extra-curricular record.
