You can't chance you exam center.
Eligibility criteria for jee mains:
Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2018 or 2019.
Or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2020 are eligible to appear in JEE(Main) April -2020 Examination.

Hello dear , Yes you attempt JEE mains from where you are currently studying , if you are from district /city . Because the JEE Mains has districts as centers . You can come to your respective district and write the exam .
