sir firstly I want to know whether A candidate from a preparatory rank list will get seat in an IIT or not

Hi Aspirant!
According to guidelines released by colleges for preparatory course, Yes the student will get the admission in IIT, but after the successful completion of one year course by passing grade.The student will get the same branch for which he/she applied.While all of this candidates are free to give Jee Advanced again.
