Hi Gautam

Thanks for asking your query, congratulations on securing such a good percentile in mains but your board percentage is low which is not acceptable in NITS because minimum requirement for NITS are 75 percentage or more in 12th cbse board, but you can go through counselling process and check the necessary details for admission or can try in other reputated private colleges which take admission on the basis of mains percentile.

No you will not able to get any NIT ..... BECAUSE your percentage in 12 board is less than 75% so. You should try for any Private college entrance exam..

NIT Durgapur takes admission on the basis of JEE Main percentile. JEE main has an official eligibility criteria of a minimum of 75% marks in 10+2 qualifying exam for General category students and 65% for SC/ST. So despite scoring 97.9 percentile, you won't be eligible for admission in NIT Durgapur, unless you are an SC/ST student.

Hello dear!

As you have secured 66%in class 12th board. Since the criteria for JEE main regarding class 12th board is that the candidate should have at least 75% from CBSE board.

Due to insufficient criteria regarding class 12th board, you will not get a seat in NIT if you are lying under general and OBC-ncl category instead of securing good rank in jee main.
