Hello Amar,
Being a doctor is considered one of the most respected and noble job in the world. And there are many fields in which you can specialize. Specially in India, other than allopathy, homeopathy, ayurveda, unani, etc. all have a great scope.
Let's start with the entrance exam(s) you need to give:
-NEET UG
-AIIMS MBBS
-JIPMER
While AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER are valid only for some of the Institutes, NEET UG is mandatory for all the medical institutions of India. Moreover, no matter what kind of doctor you want to be ( whether dentist, an MBBS, or BHMS etc.), all have admissions based on NEET score.
UNDERGRADUATE COURSES TO BECOME DOCTOR
1.MBBS- a bachelor's of medicine and bachelors of surgery degree, this is the most prestigious degree to opt for. But the competition is very tough, the marks required are very high therefore you must score in the 90th percentile(600-700 marks in NEET)
to secure a seat in government medical college.
2. BDS- A Bachelor's in Dental Surgery degree, and a 4 and a half year course, it will make you an authentic dentist. Admission is through NEET score. ( generally 500 marks in NEET for government college.
3.BHMS- A Bachelor's in Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery, it makes you a homeopathic doctor. Though the field is less than MBBS, you are nonetheless a doctor and can practise in homeopathic hospitals. Admission on based of neet score(400- 500 marks)
4. BAMS- A Bachelor's in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, it makes you a certified Ayurveda doctor. With government putting much effort to revive and promote Ayurveda, you have scope in future. Admission on based of neet score( 400- 500 marks)
5.BUMS- A Bachelor's in Unani Medicine and Surgery, this degree makes you a doctor in Unani field. But Unani courses have other criterion too along with NEET score(300-400 marks)
Apart from the government colleges, these programs are available in private colleges too but fees there is very high and you need to qualify NEET even for admission there!
For information about NEET, preparation tips, books, sample papers etc., you can visit the following link-

Apart from NEET, you can give AIIMS MBBS but that will be needed only to get in AIIMS colleges where NEET is not accepted. The link for AIIMS MBBS exam-

JIPMER is another exam for MBBS, but it is valid for only one college i.e. Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research.

Hello aspirant,
Post 10th standard ,all of us arrive at a crossroad, where we need to choose a stream that will determine our profession and eventually, the rest of our lives.while many of us choose physics, chemistry, and maths , there are many who choose physics , chemistry, and biology and pursue a profession in the medical field .but unlike engineering ,the medical field offers several options to students.choosing the right course after 12th is extremely important because a well decision can lead to a rewarding career or may become a basis for the post graduation course.it is difficult to pick one because there are so many good options, which have a good scope but we do not know which is appreciate for us.
