hi dheemanth, you still have 5 months time and if you work smart, you can really score well easily,i cannot tell you an exact time table because its up to you, it varies for person to person based on their daily routine, interest, motivation and academic schedule, but make sure that you dont read just one subject for long, you would get saturated, so do alter with other subjects, i can suggest you the best way to prepare all subjects

Physics and chemistry- physics is considered one of the toughest subject for medical aspirants, but very interesting. choose any good book of your convinience, there are plenty of good books as many mentioned already. read the concepts thoroughly, understand them cover to cover, if you have doubts, clear them then and there. solve atleast 300 to 500 questions per chapter, check ,analyse and rectify your mistakes. solve again. the more you solve the merrier.initially you wont be getting many correct answers, but as you keep on doing am sure you will see your score rising. solve previous question papers too

Biology- in neet around 300 marks are from ncert text book itself, thats how it was when i gave my exam, so u need to thorough ncert first and then read any good book of your choice and solve as many questions as you can, always stay calm , cool and confident, hope this helps good luck buddy

One aspect to understand while preparing for entrance examination is that, whatever you study, maintain absolute discipline as long as you have your books in front of you.

Managing your time effectively can be challenging sometimes. Also, given that you will be appearing for your board examinations in the month of March next year, that might act as an additional source of pressure.

Nonetheless, you can consider inculcating a few things I've mentioned below -

1) Dedicate a few QUALITY HOURS of practice on a daily basis.

When I say that, I mean 3-4 hours of your study period should be entrance oriented. In this phase, you can practice MCQs, build up a few concepts or read memory oriented subjects. But ensure that you have no source of distractions around you, since you sincere efforts are being counted somewhere.

2) Pick up topics that require more time and effort during WEEKENDS. Reason being that there is a tendency of idling away, and regretting at a later stage. Let your weekends be fruitful and an added bonus to your phase of preparation.

3)Don't compromise on concepts. If you identify a conceptual flaw, seek help from your mentor and RECTIFY it as soon as possible. These seemingly small doubts become a mountain of trouble the night before Fina examination and are huge stress causers.

4) Once you've realized that you've finished a significant chunk of syllabus, EVALUATE yourself. Solve the previous years papers and see where you stand. If you've joined a coaching institution for the same, they'll be providing you test sessions anyway, but a little extra effort from your side will only make things better for you.

I believe that there cant be a common study timetable for all students, for any exam. Each student is different, has different temperament and strengths. Also, what works for 1 may not necessarily work for another. So I think you are the best person who knows yourself, your strengths and weaknesses (if u dont u should make a conscious effort to know them at this stage).Still i would suggest few things which you may follow just the month before NEET.

Day 1 : Measurements , Practical Physics , Scalars and Vectors  Mole Concept , Metallurgy  Cell Structure and Function

Day 2 : Kinematics , Force  Thermodynamics  Biology & Human Welfare

Day 3 : Electrostatics , Magnetism  Atomic Structure , Chemical Bonding  Diversity in Living World

Day 4 : Current Electricity , Magnetic Effect of Current Surface Chemistry , Nuclear Chemistry   Biotechnology and its Applications

Day 5 : Projectile Motion , Kinematics  Alkanes , Alkenes , Alkynes , Aromatic Compounds  Human Physiology

Day 6 : Light & Sound Waves  Chemical and Ionic Equilibrium  Ecology & Environment

Day 7 : Circular Motion , Gravitation  s-block elements , Solutions & Colligative Properties  Plant Physiology

Day 8 : Rotational Motion , Ray Optics  Thermodynamics , Electrochemistry  Genetics & Evolution

Day 9 : Work , Energy & Power , Friction in Solids and Liquids  Practical Chemistry , Mole Concept , Environmental Chemistry  Structural Organization in Animals & Plants

Day 10 : Oscillations , Wave Motion , Stationary Waves  p-block Elements  Reproduction in plants

Hello

If you are studying in the plus two level, it is actually a very good time to start preparing for Neet.

We should make a daily study timetable of which at least 50% of your time should be dedicated to Biology, because that is the subject were used for the bulk of your marks if you are to get a good rank and get admitted to good college.

If I say you have around 4 hours for study everyday, do I would recommend around 6 hours and days when you don't have tuitions - you should be practicing sums of physical chemistry and physics for a round one and half hours every day, giving special stress to electromagnetism, inductance capacitance kids, modern physics and mechanics, and also the concepts of optics, which are difficult to master in the days before your examination.

Regarding organic chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry, you should be well versed with the various reaction sequences and mechanism scan a book like op Agarwal op Tandon will help you develop good concepts in this regard.

You should be dedicating around 1 hour to noting down these reactions mythological facts in some copy,if possible, which will be of aid before your examination

Remaining two to three hours you must dedicate to Biology, giving special stress to zoology, botany, microbiology and Biotechnology, a book like Veer Bala Rastogi or the NCERT guidelines might be of help to you in this regard, Pradeep and Nootan may also be of help

What is of a greater concern, start practicing MCQs, and more importantly giving mark examinations on a time bound limit, which exposes you two questions across all chapters from the three subjects in a proportionate mixture, time and again, so that you can realise your strengths and weaknesses and work upon them, and also help you evaluate regarding time management.

That is the best way to attend the max number of correct questions, and leave behind the minimum number and answer questions incorrectly as negligibly as possible.

Hope this helps, thank you

Hi Dheemanth

Here are the way how you can start studying smartly for NEET

  • Introspect yourself :- make a checklist that what you know already and what you have to know for the NEET. Go through the syllabus once and check your level, that from where you have to start.
  • Plan the Journey :- After Introspecting, Start from the very basic and plan out the journey for the whole syllabus a set some deadline for yourself so that you can progress in a pre defined manner.
  • Never Give Up :- It is the golden rule to achieve the goal. Build up yourself and your confidence not to give up even in the hardest situation. THink positive, talk to positive people, ask queries, make mistakes and learn from all these things. Stand by your decision and motivate yourself time to time.

Here are Some GOLDEN tips for the preparation of NEET

  • Firstly, gather all the details about the officially prescribed syllabus for the examination.
  • Make a proper time-table for your preparations.
  • Follow the time table strictly and increase your potential day by day.
  • Consider the good preparation books and study materials.
  • Practice mock test & previous year question papers.
  • Make mistakes while practising, and correct them and never repeat them.
  • Never give up even at your low time.
  • Stay stress free & healthy while preparing for exams.
  • Don’t try to include new topics at the end of preparations.

All the best
