Sir, I belong to general EWS category and from Uttar Pradesh but the seat allotted to me in upcet mca in round 1 is from open category and all India quota why I didn't get category and home state reservation whereas my all documents had been verified properly.

As per your query , I would glad to inform you that when you are from certain category like ews then you will be facing competition among ews candidates and whent they get full you will be facing competition for general seats and sometimes when you are just few ranks away from closing they give you the general so any of the reason can be happen in your case
