NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Cut-off for Madhya Pradesh is not yet released. You will have to wait for State Merit List for exact cut-off.
Meanwhile you can get some idea from last year's (NEET 2017) trends:
For 15% AIQ = ≤6000 AIR (For MGMMC = <2900 AIR)
For 85% State Quota = ≤12000 AIR (For MGMMC = <4000 AIR)
These ranks are only for UR (Unreserved) category. For OBC there is fluctuations of +1000–2000 AIR for different colleges.
I have given ranks because marks fluctuate every year but ranks more or less remain same (with <200 AIR fluctuations).
MGMMC = Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Indore
Now coming to ur qsn, at 498 marks also having an OBC category reservation, seems you have cleared it for government medical. Colleges but still wait for the state merit rank. Since it depends on how well ur state has performed considering the facts that the paper was easy this year and there were more number of candidates appearing as well.
Hope this helps..
As you mentioned with obc category and 98 marks, your chances of getting a decent government college anywhere are negligible. As your marks are too low you might not even get some private medical college.
I suggest you to go for some other course or prepare for NEET next year.
However cutoffs change every year depending upon level of toughness of exam. So hope for the best and follow the counselling process.
