Mention that you completed diploma in chemical engineering and want take direct admission in second year of chemical engineering. There lateral entry option for diploma students to get admission in 4 year ug degree. You have participate in the counselling of your state conducted for dsy admission in Engineering. Put the college which you want and if cutoff matches you can get admission. In college their are 15 percent seats are reserved diploma students.

hello, there is a option called lateral entry for diploma holders who wish to study further, you will be starting 2nd year of btech through lateral entry. But most of the colleges require the candidates to give their lateral entry entrance exam, after exam the process will be followed by cut off list for lateral entry.
